Understanding Battery Sizes
Car key fob batteries are identified by a code that indicates their dimensions. The code format is CR[Diameter][Thickness]:
- CR = Lithium coin cell battery
- First two digits = Diameter in millimeters (e.g., 16, 20, 23, 24)
- Last two digits = Thickness in tenths of millimeters (e.g., 16 = 1.6mm, 32 = 3.2mm)
